YUMA, Ariz. – Jectors Too on 24th street a popular burrito restaurant in Yuma was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday.

The suspect is still on the loose, but Police have released a photo and description for the man accused.

“The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 16 and 18 years old 5 foot 5 inches with a thin build. He was wearing a Diamondback ball cap with a grey shirt and black shorts with black socks pulled up very high,” said Joe Franklin of Yuma Police Department.

The restaurant is family owned and employees say the robber came in and made an order then refused to pay and handed a note asking for money. The cashier at first thought the man was joking, but then he showed her a gun.

“He showed her a gun down on his left pocket, so that’s when the cashier gave him all the money that was in the cash register,” said Jesus Garcia owner of Jectors.

Garcia says he is angry at people who choose to rob and take from his family’s hard earned money instead of working for it.

“They take the easy way out instead of going to work like us waking up early morning. They just decide to grab a gun and demand for money that’s not right,” said Garcia.

The Yuma Police Department encourages anyone with any information about these incidents to please call the Yuma Police Department at (928) 373-4700 or 78-Crime.
